The Best Free vSphere Tools for 2011: A Video Preview

As many of you know, Kendrick Coleman and I were not selected to speak at VMworld Europe this year, despite a huge turnout of over 1000 attendees in Vegas. However, vKernel has put together a funny video that shows what our presentation on the best free vSphere tools for 2011 might have looked like if we had been selected to speak.

In the video, you’ll get to see some of the tools we would have covered, including vSCOPE, which is a new, free tool from vKernel that will be available on October 26th. You can check out the video here:

We’re still amazed that Kenny has already passed his VCP7 exam and is now preparing for his next certification! Meanwhile, Kendrick and I will be giving our free tools presentation again, live, next week. You can register here to attend:

In this presentation, we’ll be covering the top free tools for vSphere admins, including vSCOPE, which is a powerful performance monitoring and reporting tool that will be available soon. We’ll also be discussing other free tools that can help you manage your vSphere environment more effectively, such as PowerCLI, vSphere CLI, and more.

So, if you’re looking for some free tools to help you manage your vSphere environment, be sure to check out our presentation next week. And don’t forget to register for vSCOPE when it becomes available on October 26th – it’s going to be a great resource for vSphere admins!
