Welcome to my new virtual playground! As a long-time blogger on the topic of virtualization, PowerShell, Windows Server management, and Citrix products, I have decided to start fresh with this new site. My old site, h0bbel.p0ggel.org, had a bit of a weird domain name and a long history, so I’ve decided to move on and focus on providing solutions for SMB users.
As many of you know, there is a lot of information out there about virtualization and related technologies, but much of it is focused on large corporations with large IT teams. That’s just not the reality for many of us, and we have to fill lots of different roles – such as server admin, network admin, storage admin, and more. That’s why my main focus here will be on solutions for SMB users, providing practical tips and tricks that you can use in your day-to-day work.
For now, there isn’t a whole lot of content here yet, but I’ll start trickling in new posts as soon as I have something worth sharing. In the meantime, if you have any topics or ideas for posts that you would like to see, please don’t hesitate to leave a comment. I’m always open to suggestions and ideas from my readers!
A bit about me: My name is Christian Mohn, and I’ve been working with virtualization and related technologies for over 10 years now. I’ve worked with all the major virtualization platforms – VMware, Microsoft, and Citrix – and have a deep understanding of how they work and how to use them effectively. I’m also highly skilled in PowerShell, and have developed many custom scripts and tools to help me manage my virtual infrastructure more efficiently.
My co-author, Stine Elise Larsen, is an experienced IT professional with a background in server administration, network administration, and cloud computing. She has worked with a variety of technologies, including Microsoft, VMware, and Citrix, and has a deep understanding of how to use these technologies to solve real-world problems.
We’re excited to be here and share our knowledge and experience with you, and we hope that you’ll find our content helpful and informative. Thank you for joining us on this new adventure!
