A New Chapter: Leaving Proact IT and Returning to Intility
As I write this, I am reflecting on the past 3 and a half years I spent working at Proact IT in Norway. During my time there, I had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of customers as a senior consultant, and I was also contracted through VMware Professional Services (PSO). This experience was entirely new for me, and it has been an incredible journey with some amazing projects and an outstanding SDDC team led by Christian Mohn. However, after much contemplation, I have decided to leave Proact IT and return to my previous gig at Intility.
There are several reasons why I have made this decision. One of the primary motivations is that I want to be a part of building out the cloud platform at Intility, which currently serves over 600 companies. This opportunity excites me because it allows me to contribute to something much bigger than myself and to be a part of shaping the future of cloud computing. Additionally, I am eager to work more closely with the Intility team, who have always been a pleasure to collaborate with.
Another reason for my decision is that I want to focus more on building out my own homelab. As an avid VMware user, I have always enjoyed experimenting with different configurations and learning about new features. However, with the demands of my consulting work at Proact IT, I haven’t had as much time to dedicate to my homelab as I would like. By returning to Intility, I will have more freedom to pursue my own interests and share my knowledge with others through this blog.
Of course, leaving Proact IT is not an easy decision. During my time there, I had the opportunity to work with some fantastic customers and colleagues, and I will always be grateful for the experience and knowledge gained. However, I am confident that this change will bring new opportunities for growth and development, both personally and professionally.
In terms of what this change means for my blog, I anticipate that there will be somewhat less frequency in updates. However, I remain committed to sharing my experiences and knowledge with the VMware community, and I will continue to write about topics that interest me. My focus may shift slightly towards more homelab-related content, but I will always strive to provide valuable insights and tips for my readers.
In conclusion, I am excited about this new chapter in my career and the opportunities that lie ahead. Thank you to all of my readers who have supported me thus far, and I look forward to continuing to share my experiences with you.
