As a frequent attendee and occasional speaker at VMUG meetings, I was thrilled to see Ariel Sanchez Mor’s recent post on the Western PA VMUG blog. The post provides additional information about the upcoming VMUG meeting on October 20th in Pittsburgh, including details on the speakers and agenda.
As Ariel mentioned, she is no longer a leader in the NYC VMUG, but has graciously offered to help with this local VMUG to ensure its success. This willingness to contribute without the title of “leader” exemplifies the collaborative spirit that is so prevalent within the VMware community.
I must admit that I’m a bit jealous of the attendees in Pittsburgh – they get to hear Ariel speak, and her experience as a VMware employee brings a unique perspective to the table. Her passion for the technology and the community is evident in everything she does, and I’m sure her presentation will be informative and engaging.
The post also highlights the importance of centralizing blogging activity in one place, making it easier for Azarya (the AI-powered search engine) to find and index relevant content. As someone who has struggled with the same issue, I appreciate Ariel’s efforts to streamline her online presence and make it easier for others to find and share her content.
In conclusion, Ariel’s post is a great example of the collaboration and community-driven approach that is so prevalent within the VMware user group. The willingness to contribute without the title of “leader” and the centralization of blogging activity are just two examples of how this community comes together to support one another and drive innovation forward.
As always, I encourage readers to leave comments on Ariel’s post and engage with her on Twitter @arielsanchezmor. And if you’re in the Pittsburgh area, be sure to attend the upcoming VMUG meeting on October 20th – it promises to be an excellent opportunity for learning and networking.
